The good news is that we all have room for our own, far-flung jobs, which are on the rise. Many of us work from home for Starbucks, libraries, trains or any number of locations. Simply give it a title (and give them your email address), and you get a free article, fully written and sourced. Admittedly I did have to edit it a little to get the links to the sources working in WordPress, but there are only ten links to do this with and it was mostly copying and pasting. I could easily use this technology to generate articles and publish a blog, couldn’t I? Search engines wouldn’t know what I had done, the text looks authentic and original, it is kind of readable, isn’t it?

Well simply put, no. Although it claims that “The generated text is 88% unique” much of it has been paraphrased from other people’s work, although it is well linked to its sources. It doesn’t read as a stand alone piece either, it lends so heavily from the original content, that it doesn’t have a cohesive beginning middle or end. It would have to be seriously well edited to appear to be organic human text, to either a conversational, or informational language structure.

I may have a crack at copyediting this article, to prove the principle, as well as to showcase my skills in improving readability while including keywords with search in mind.
